Grace is a way of being, of how you treat people, a state of mind, all in acceptance. When someone is in a true state of grace, they accept that people, things, circumstances just are. They are not to be judged, and therefore, allowed to live without fear of trivial perception . The symbol for grace is a series of wavy lines, such as a wave. Signifying calmness, water accepts a pebble, begins the ripples only to become calm again.
In my twenty's, I happened upon a poster of "The Three Graces" in a little shop in San Francisco. They've been in my thoughts throughout the years, as though they were a part of me. Just as the memory of seeing them and the feeling they brought on, leads me to my two sisters. I remember looking for it again, whenever I came upon photo's or poster's in shops. Whatever the kinship I felt, it remains still. The kinship is my own two sisters and the respect I feel for them. I am proud to call these beautiful and amazing women, each with their own state of grace, my sisters.
Along with my sisters, I've been very blessed to have known so many beautiful women, Not enough time to mention them all... but I must try.
Misty Doggett, Michelle Cloyd, Katelyn Collier, Lineace Perey, Laci, Denise Silveira, Rhonda Silveira, Lydia Correia, Maria Ledbetter, Natalie Pyers, Liz Lima, Jackie Brown, Susana Medina, Jenny Vasquez, Kathy Robertson, Krystal Wear, Zoraida Armenta Garcia, Shalynn Russell Lewis and her beautiful graceful sisters.
Listen I know I didn't list everyone so don't be fooled into thinking you don't deserve to be here. When you believe in yourself, your neighbor shall too.

The Real Three Graces
Aglaia, Thalia and Euphrosyne
Who were the Three Graces of Ancient Greek mythology?
The Three Graces were minor goddesses and nymphs and according to Greek Mythology were the daughters of Zeus, the king of the gods and the Oceanid called Eurynome a nymph of the water-ways and clouds, who was represented by a statue of what we would call a mermaid.
The Three Graces were reputed to be the essence of beauty, charm, and grace and were closely associated with the Nine Muses who presided and inspired song, dance, music, poetry and the sciences. They were regarded as the inspirers of the qualities which give attractiveness to wisdom, love, culture and social interaction. The names of the Three Graces were Aglaia, Thalia, and Euphrosyne.
